Monkey See Monkey Poo: Interactive Banana-Scented Dough Flinging Game for Kids Ages 4+
Monkey See Monkey Poo is a vertical board game from Spin Master Games for 2 to 4 players ages 4 and up. Players take turns flinging banana-scented dough from a monkey-shaped launcher at a tree-shaped game board. The goal is to knock over banana bunches, collect tokens, and climb a vine to the top. A typical game lasts about 25 to 30 minutes.
What’s in the Box
This game comes with a 7-piece monkey flinger, four monkey climbers with clips, five banana bunches with clips, 15 banana tokens, a container of monkey dough, four green string vines, a spinner board with arrow and peg, a four-piece tree game board, and an assembly sheet. The dough is banana-scented, adding a playful sensory element. The game is covered by the Spin Master Care Commitment.
How to Play: Fling, Collect, Climb
Each player chooses a monkey character – P.U. Stink, Gassy George, Harry Dingle, or Tootsie. The spinner determines how many flings a player gets. To fling, lift the monkey flinger’s tail, load dough into the opening on its back, and push the tail to move the dough into the hands. Shape the dough into a ball, place one hand on the base to steady it, and the other on the launcher. Aim at the tree game board and launch. After flinging, collect one banana token for each banana bunch knocked over. Once a player has three tokens, they trade them in to climb to the next level on the tree. If the entire tree is knocked over, that’s a “Banana Blowout,” and the player collects one token and their turn ends. The first player to climb all the way to the top wins and becomes Top Banana.
Why the Banana-Scented Dough Stands Out
The dough is banana-scented, which fits the game’s silly theme. It’s squishy and can be shaped into “poo” before flinging. This tactile element makes the game more engaging for kids and adds a sensory layer beyond typical board games. The dough is included in a container, and players pinch and shape it before each launch.
What Age Is This Game Best For?
The manufacturer recommends ages 4 and up. It’s designed for 2 to 4 players, making it suitable for family game nights with younger children. The game takes about 25 to 30 minutes, short enough to hold attention but long enough for meaningful play. It can be enjoyed by kids from 4 to 12 and even adults who appreciate silly humor.
