This set of two INJORA steel drive shafts replaces the center driveshaft on 1/24-scale Axial SCX24 trucks. Each shaft is CNC-machined from stainless steel with a coating that helps resist oxidation. The pair includes one short shaft (adjustable from 40mm to 52mm) and one long shaft (adjustable from 57mm to 83mm), giving you flexibility for different wheelbase setups. Weighing 17 grams total, they are a direct-fit upgrade for the SCX24 C10, JLU, Bronco, Base Camp, and 4Runner models. Note: these shafts are not compatible with the SCX24 Deadbolt (AXI90081) or B17.

What Makes These Shafts Different

The CNC machining provides consistent tolerances, and the stainless steel coating helps prevent surface rust – a common problem on stock shafts that see mud or water. Because the shafts are adjustable, you can fine-tune the length to match your chassis without needing to cut or modify anything. The set covers both the short and long center drive positions that many SCX24 builds require.

Installation Notes

These shafts are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement. Remove the stock driveshafts, then install the new ones using the provided hardware. The adjustable sections lock in place with a setscrew – just slide to your desired length and tighten. No permanent modifications needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these fit my SCX24 Deadbolt?

No. The manufacturer states they are not compatible with SCX24 Deadbolt models (AXI90081) or the B17. They also may not fit other SCX24 variants not listed.

How do I adjust the length?

Loosen the setscrew on the sliding section, extend or shorten the shaft to your required length, then retighten the screw. The short shaft has a range of 40–52 mm; the long shaft ranges from 57–83 mm.

Are these stronger than the stock plastic shafts?

Steel is generally more durable than the plastic used on stock SCX24 driveshafts. These shafts are designed to handle higher torque loads without twisting.

What is the total weight of the set?

The pair weighs 17 grams, making them a lightweight upgrade that adds minimal unsprung mass.
