The Wabesmanis AOE is a dual-purpose yo-yo that works as a responsive return-top for beginners and converts to an unresponsive model for advanced tricks by swapping the bearing. It features a butterfly profile and a finger spin indentation near the center, making it suitable for DNA rotations and 1A, 3A, and 5A styles. The yo-yo body is made from clear PC plastic with a pink-to-blue gradient, includes 10 strings, a bearing removal tool, and a small Allen key.

How does the dual-purpose bearing system work?

Out of the box, the AOE uses a flat bearing that makes it responsive – a simple tug brings the yo-yo back to your hand. As you progress, you can swap in the included U-type unresponsive bearing (with an M4×10mm axle) using the removal tool and Allen key. Once switched, the yo-yo no longer returns automatically; you need to learn the bind trick to bring it back. This one yo-yo grows with your skill level.

What tricks can you do with the finger spin indentation?

The center of the yo-yo has a shallow dimple designed for finger spin tricks, like the DNA rotation. This indentation helps the yo-yo spin on your fingertip smoothly. In unresponsive mode, the long spin times and stable butterfly shape also support advanced string tricks for 1A, 3A, and 5A play styles, giving you plenty of room to practice and perform.

Frequently asked questions

Can beginners use this yo-yo right away?

Yes. The AOE comes assembled with a responsive bearing, so a child or new player can throw it down and have it return with a gentle pull. The butterfly shape also helps keep the yo-yo stable, making it easier to learn basic tricks.

How do I switch to unresponsive mode?

Use the bearing removal tool and Allen key to remove the flat bearing and axle. Replace them with the included KK bearing and M4×10mm axle. After that, the yo-yo will be unresponsive, and you must use a bind to bring it back.

Is the material safe for children?

The yo-yo body is made from PC plastic, which is durable, abrasion-resistant, and non-toxic. The color gradient is dyed into the plastic, not painted on, so it won't chip or peel easily.

What is the finger spin indentation for?

The indentation in the center allows the yo-yo to spin on the tip of your finger, enabling tricks like DNA and other finger-spin based moves. It works in both responsive and unresponsive setups.
